RL6000 Stretchtape™ is a custom-manufactured dielectric grade silicone rubber tape. It is reinforced with sinusoidal glass yarn to control stretch and increase strength. The adhesion improves with age and heat. This tape provides performance in a single wrap. RL6000 is used by the world leading major transportation OEMs.

Recommended for:

Cable and Harness wrapping/bundling/splicing
Cable and Connection Insulation
Electronic assemblies
Motor rewinds and repair
Roll wrapping for release purposes
Insulation of armature and interpole coils in motors
Conformability over irregular surfaces such as coils, bus-bars and cable connectors
RL6000 SA has a 25% min stretch capability
RL6000 SB has a 15% min.stretch capability
Tensile Strength: 40 lb/inch minimum
