EFFECTS OF HEAT Material softens at 440°F and melts at 482°F.
EFFECTS OF ACIDS
AND ALKALIS This material has a good resistance to most minerals and acids and will dissolve in concentrated solutions of sulfuric acid. Good resistance to weak alkalis, and moderate reistance to strong alkalis at room temperature.
RESISTANCE TO
MILDEW, AGING,
AND SUNLIGHT This yarn is not attacked by mildew. Excellent resistance to aging, abrasion, and sunlight, but prolonged exposure causes some strength loss.
